Rodnina emphasized that she lived in the United States at a different time, and this was a common occurrence for many, including those who now work and live in Russia. She noted that she lived in Moscow before many of the current critics were born, and returned to Moscow when others began to leave the country. Rodnina expressed misunderstanding regarding criticism of her period of life in the United States and called for improving her own life instead of observing someone else’s.
