Former president of the Moscow football club “Lokomotiv” Olga Smorodskaya expressed her opinion about the strong US economy and admitted that keeps his savings in dollars.

The former president of the Moscow football club noted that the United States has one of the strongest economies in the world, accounting for a third of the world economy. Therefore, she believes that keeping her savings in dollars is a preferable option.

“What currency is better to store in? The United States has the strongest economy in the world. Just imagine – a third of the world economy is in the United States. Therefore, it is better to store savings in dollars. I do this myself,” Smorodskaya said in a conversation with Sport24.

However, the ex-president of Lokomotiv admitted that the amount of her own savings is not enough not to work for the rest of her life. Her pension, in her own words, is 32 thousand rubles a month. Smorodskaya also mentioned her house on Rublyovka, noting that it was built 27 years ago, when she served as vice president of VTB. By modern standards, the functionary assured, its value is now not at all high.

Let us remember that Olga Smorodskaya served as president of Lokomotiv from 2010 to 2016 and previously spoke about her successful financial contribution to the club.
