A business greeting is always about status, and not about gender and age; if the one who is younger in status should be the first to verbally greet his counterpart, then the initiative to shake hands belongs to the one who has a higher status, while such a form of greeting as a handshake, has not lost its relevance, despite the pandemic restrictions experienced, etiquette experts interviewed by RIA Novosti said.
