Irish MMA fighter Conor McGregor has announced his next fight. The athlete published a post on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

“I will announce the date of my next fight and opponent on New Year’s Day 2024,” the former UFC champion wrote.

It is noted that McGregor fought his last fight in the summer of 2021. He lost to American Dustin Poirier, who was struck by technical knockout. The Irishman broke his leg and is still recovering.

Thus, 35-year-old McGregor is a former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion. In total, he has 28 fights, won 22 victories and suffered 6 defeats.

Previously reported that Mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Jeff Monson, who renounced his US citizenship in favor of Russia, told RIA Novosti that he would no longer be able to get a visa to America and meet with the children who are there. Monson, who was born in the United States, took Russian citizenship in 2018 and is currently a member of the Bashkir parliament.
