Distance learning due to a ceiling collapse: in the Orenburg region, the Minister of Education solved the problem
After an incident in a gymnasium in the village of Donskoy (Orenburg region), where floor slabs collapsed in the gymnasium, the authorities decided to transfer all classes to a full-time and part-time format of education until inspections were completed and expert opinions were obtained.

This decision affected students in grades 9-11, who were given the opportunity to study in the second shift at Krasnogvardeyskaya First School, while the rest of the students will be transferred to distance learning, reports 56orb.ru.
This decision was made jointly with the Minister of Education of the Orenburg region Alexey Pakhomovwho assured the students’ parents that the educational process would not be affected by this situation.
The Investigative Committee has already launched a criminal investigation into this incident, and specialists are working to identify the causes of the accident.
The area of the collapse exceeded one hundred square meters, which emphasizes the seriousness of the situation. The regional Investigative Committee intends to present the results of the investigation to the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin upon completion of checks.
