Pilots of the Russian airline Siberia faced an attempt to blind them with a laser in Novosibirsk.

On the evening of March 23, an Airbus A-320 aircraft flying from Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport to Tolmachevo was on approach approximately 22 kilometers from the airfield when a green laser was directed at the cockpit by unknown persons.

The pilots informed dispatchers about the incident, but continued the flight as normal. The plane then landed safely and no one on board was injured.

Earlier in Mexico, participants at an international pyrotechnics fair used dozens of lasers on a passing plane. Video footage of the incident shows the plane was illuminated green. This caused outrage among social media users, who suggested that the pilots had taken all possible measures to avoid the potential danger.
