“You”: Kanye West has now officially changed his name and became Ye

American rap artist Kanye West has officially changed his name to Ye. Page Six writes about this with reference to a statement by the star’s director Milo Yiannopoulos.

The artist’s representative claims that he is popular in the world on a par with presidents and the Pope. For this reason, changing his name was not easy for him.

“But the change took place completely, legally and forever. Now it’s him. His name is Ye,” says the letter, which is in the editorial office of the publication.

Yiannopoulos notes that the artist calls on all streaming platforms, press, stores and sites with the lyrics of his tracks to indicate the new name.

Ye is a black man in America seeking the right to self-determination.
