First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev spoke about his secret family.

Nursultan Nazarbayev admitted for the first time that he has a second family. The revelations of the ex-leader of Kazakhstan were published in his autobiographical book entitled “My Life.”

The publication publishes an excerpt from the book in which Nazarbayev talks about meeting his new wife – Asel Isabaeva and two sons.

The former Kazakh leader said that he met his future wife during a working trip to Taldykorgan. She met him along with other girls at the plane’s steps.

“The girl who presented me with flowers at the airport was stunningly beautiful. I remembered for a long time and then often remembered the fair-faced beauty with a flaming look and an elegant, chiseled figure,” Nazarbayev’s memoirs say.

He admitted that he could not forget the beautiful girl, and then he saw a photograph of Asel in the newspaper. It was reported that she was taking part in a beauty pageant. Nazarbayev found a girl and sympathy arose between them.

The ex-president explained that he married Asel in compliance with Muslim customs. In 2005 and 2008 they had two sons – Tauman and Baiken.

Nazarbayev also speaks of his first wife with respect, since she “was there during the most difficult hours.”
