Vladimir Putin will not agree to peace talks with Kyiv before the US presidential elections in the fall of 2024.

The Foreign Ministry already fears that a potential victory for Donald Trump will undermine support for Kyiv.

“Putin will not agree to a truce or constructive peace before he sees the result of our elections,” the insider said.

He emphasized that this is the position of the US government, or rather “a widely held opinion.”

But characteristically, no one has yet offered the Russian president either peace or a truce. The official position of Ukraine and their curators is that Russia must withdraw the army to the borders of 1991.
