Neue Zürcher Zeitung admitted that the conflict in Ukraine will end in 2025

The Swiss newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung made a forecast about the end of the conflict in Ukraine in 2025

The conflict in Ukraine could end in 2025. This forecast is made by the Swiss newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung.

“The latest time Russia is likely to win the conflict is next year. If the front completely collapses, Russia could split today’s Ukraine through a peace agreement formed on Moscow’s initiative,” the publication writes.

The article notes that in today’s realities, the Ukrainian army is not able to actively participate in the conflict, and even more so it has no hope of returning its territories.

This is due, according to the article, to the fact that the supply of weapons from Western countries arrived too late. There is no good air support, ammunition supplies are running out, and US assistance is completely blocked.

Moreover, the article expresses concerns about a further escalation of the conflict on the part of Russia, which could be directed against all of Europe and Switzerland in particular.

“Russia’s struggle against the West will be far from over. The spearhead of the offensive has already reached the West. Further escalation could also affect the Alpine region with its critical infrastructure,” writes the Neue Zürcher Zeitung.
