The General Directorate of National Security announced a new list that includes a number of appointments to positions of responsibility in its departments in the cities of Casablanca, Settat, Fez and Al Hoceima.

The new appointments, which were indicated by the Director General of National Security, Abdellatif Hamouchi, included five new positions of police responsibility, including the appointment of a head of the regional public information service in Al Hoceima and a head of the public information squad in the Moulay Rachid security zone in the city of Casablanca, as well as the appointment of a head of a squad affiliated with the department. At the level of judicial police services, the new list included the appointment of a head of the judicial police squad affiliated with the Benemsik security zone in the city of Casablanca.

These appointments also aimed to establish a security framework at the head of a regular public security unit, represented by the appointment of a commander for a division affiliated with the mobile group to maintain order in the city of Fez.

According to the General Directorate of National Security, these new appointments “are part of a continuous work dynamic that aims to increase the efficiency and productivity of police human resources, by allowing the rotation of responsibility centers, and entrusting the field management of police facilities to highly trained and qualified security competencies, capable of carrying out… Action plans aimed at enhancing citizen security and ensuring the safety of their property.”
