The new Kia K4 is a significantly updated model that differs significantly from the previous Kia Forte, especially visually. While specific performance specs have yet to be revealed, Kia has already released full images of its new compact sedan ahead of its public debut at the New York Auto Show on March 27.

The new K4’s exterior design is reminiscent of the smaller K3 that the Rio supersedes, and while the car has a sporty roofline, it’s still a sedan with a traditional trunk lid.

An interesting change also affects the interior – the new K4 is equipped with a dual screen system controlled by touch buttons and control keys for climate control and multimedia, as well as convenient function buttons for the driver and passengers. The sedan will be offered in a variety of upholstery and interior color options and will go on sale in the US later this year after debuting at the New York Auto Show.
