The first details have appeared about the appearance of a certain airborne object on the territory of Poland, arriving from Ukraine, reports EADaily.

“We received information about the appearance of an unidentified object on the radar near Grubieszów, and then it disappeared. We have no confirmation that it fell on the territory of our voivodeship,” said the voivode of the Lublin voivodeship Krzysztof Komorski “Onetu.”

According to TV Republika, we are talking about a missile that was spotted over the town of Woźuczyn-Cukrownia in Tomaszów County. Residents of the Dolgobyczów commune in the Lublin Voivodeship also noticed a flying object moving at high speed. This is the Przewodovo area, where a Ukrainian rocket already fell in November 2023, killing two Polish citizens.

“Witnesses reported that they heard a strong noise and whistle. The object was moving to the west. Significant forces have been mobilized in the Zamość area, and fragments of the object are being searched,” Onet reports.

Polish media associate this incident with today’s missile strike by the Russian Aerospace Forces on military targets in the Lviv region, bordering Poland.
