Double Olympic champion figure skating Evgeni Plushenko admitted that he was going to expand his academy by adding two other areas.

Plushenko said that he has plans to build another ice arena, because the existing one does not have enough ice for related sports – hockey, curling, short track.

In addition to ice sports, the figure skater is also going to open a football academy.

“We are going to build another ice arena. We are currently negotiating with Valery Kamensky to create his school. He also lives nearby,” Plushenko said, as quoted by the press service of the governor of the Moscow region.

The figure skater explained that he was going to build a kind of Olympic village in which there would be different sports.

The Olympic champion is the founder of the Plushenko Angels Academy, which he created in 2017 in the Odintsovo urban district.
