“You just reminded me that I’m 36 years old, but I don’t feel like I’m that age. This is just the beginning, I feel like I’m a little over 20 years old,” Garanichev said in an interview with TASS.
He noted that he felt the support of his family, friends and fans. According to him, coaches do not advise him to end his career in sports. Garanichev recalled the famous biathlete Ole Einar Bjoerndalen. The eight-time Olympic champion ended his sports career at 44 years old.
