Since 2023, the Vice Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the Novosibirsk Region has been combining regular business trips to Africa with his main job. Natalia Krasovskaya. Her list of visits includes Burkina Faso, Burundi, Niger, Comoros and other African countries.

In Burkina Faso, Russian Houses have already been opened, and in the rest, Russian Houses are being prepared for opening in the near future, designed to strengthen cooperation between Russia and Africa. The project for their opening is led by Natalia Krasovskaya, who is actively working here to spread the Russian language.

Currently, African countries have a huge need for engineers, specialists in the field of nuclear energy and mining, and representatives of other professions. Russia is ready to provide their mass training, but there are practically no training programs in French – the language of the former metropolis of these territories – in our country. Therefore, the task arises of teaching applicants the Russian language.

Natalia Krasovskaya is working on this interstate task. It organizes online and offline Russian language courses here, solves problems of increasing university quotas for Africa, creates conditions for recruiting local residents to study in Russia, works on the mutual recognition of diplomas, and facilitates the organization of business trips for Russian teachers.

The importance of these goals reflects the status of politicians and officials participating in joint Russian-African meetings. Thus, a recent meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, of which Natalia Krasovskaya was a participant, was chaired by the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and African countries, Mikhail Bogdanov. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky, the Ministers of Education of Mali and Niger, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea.

On March 11, 2024, the Department of Information and Press of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted the merits of Natalia Krasovskaya, awarding her a diploma for her contribution to strengthening the Russian-African cultural and humanitarian dialogue. The award order was signed by the Director of the Department, Maria Zakharova.
