American neuroscientists from the University of California at Los Angeles have discovered a neural mechanism in the brain that is responsible for the desire to snack despite the feeling of fullness. It turned out that it has nothing to do with the reactions of hunger and satiety. The study was published in the scientific journal Nature Communication.
