“Vape smoke contains glycerin, propylene glycol and nicotine. When heated, these substances become carcinogens, which leads to the development of malignant tumors. The entry of these substances into the body activates the adrenal glands, causing the release of large amounts of cortisol, the stress hormone. This increases the load on the blood vessels and can lead to to inflammation in the blood vessels and bronchi, causing irreversible changes in the body,” the doctor emphasized.
She also gave examples of cases where vaping has led to serious consequences for teenagers, including cases of pneumonia and even myocardial infarction. The doctor emphasized that such cases have already become a reality and warned of serious threats to the health of adolescents. This is reported by udm-info.ru.
Let us recall that due to the growing popularity of vaping, a deputy of the State Council of the Republic expressed an initiative to tighten the sale of vapes. Since the beginning of the year, Rospotrebnadzor in the region has received more than 1,000 complaints about the illegal sale of vapes, but store owners continue to violate laws by continuing to trade.
