The Internet explained why you should not watch “The Flying Ship” with children

Negative reviews about the film “The Flying Ship” have appeared on the Internet. It would seem that the modern adaptation of the old cartoon should have become a film for family viewing, but in reality it turned out not quite so.

Viewers noticed rude dialogue and vulgar jokes that can make even adults’ ears droop. The number of scenes of violence in the film is off the scale, which can also negatively affect the child’s psyche. As for the characters themselves, many of them did not understand who they were playing. For example, according to one of the viewers, Zabava simply grimaces and makes faces, without showing the real emotions that this heroine should have.

Commentators also drew attention to the poisonous acid costumes, in which there is not a hint of good taste, and to the strange musical numbers. Songs that were popular in the 2000s turned out to be out of place in a children’s fairy tale, as were dances referencing the film La La Land.

Among adult and children’s audiences, there were those who liked “The Flying Ship”, but many viewers unanimously recognized the film as unsuitable for viewing with children.
