General practitioner Igor Alentov in an interview with Lenta.ru, he spoke about the essence of vitamin deficiency and refuted the myth about significant vitamin deficiency in the spring.

The doctor substantiated the frequent malaise in the spring that people complain about by a complex of reasons that is not associated with a critical lack of vitamins. Firstly, he associated weakness and lethargy with increased physical activity and lack of sunlight.

He associated problems with skin and hair loss with disorders of the endocrine system. In addition, he did not exclude the influence of a psychosomatic factor on general well-being. He called vitamin deficiency an unlikely occurrence for modern people due to the year-round availability of foods rich in various vitamins. Thus, he called for paying attention not so much to nutrition, but to physical activity and a balanced daily routine.
