The traffic police explained how to avoid fines from cameras at intersections

In big cities, busy intersections are equipped with video recording systems for violations, which are controlled by artificial intelligence. According to information received by the njcar portal. ru from a representative of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, these systems operate using two traffic cameras.

The first camera records the moment when a car enters an intersection if a traffic jam occurs, while the second records the creation of an obstacle for other road users.

The received information is processed by a neural network in accordance with predefined algorithms. When a match is detected, artificial intelligence automatically draws up a protocol on the offense committed. The data is then submitted for final verification and a violation notice is sent, for which a fine of 1,000 rubles is charged.

The traffic police note that these systems identify only those drivers who enter the intersection when the green signal is flashing and remain in its center, impeding the movement of other participants. Therefore, to avoid a fine, it is strongly recommended not to enter an intersection when the traffic light is flashing green.
