Experts say the chances of the bill now passing the House of Representatives are slim. Speaker of the Lower House of Congress Mike Johnson has previously statedthat the US House of Representatives, controlled by the Republican Party, will not consider a package bill on assistance to Ukraine and Israel that does not contain provisions to tighten security of the border with Mexico.
