The war toll has risen to 28,340 martyrs since October 7 – Day 24

On Monday, the death toll from the war on the Gaza Strip, after which Israel is being tried on charges of genocide, rose to “28,340 martyrs” since last October 7.”

The ministry reported, in a statement, that “the toll of the Israeli aggression has risen to 28,340 martyrs and 67,984 injured since October 7.”

She added: “The Israeli occupation committed 19 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, claiming 164 martyrs and 200 injuries during the past 24 hours.”

The ministry stated that “there are still a number of victims under the rubble and on the roads, and the occupation prevents ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.”

Regarding the city of Rafah, which was subjected to Israeli bombing on Sunday/Monday night, the ministry’s spokesman, Ashraf Al-Qudra, said in a statement, a copy of which was received by Anatolia: “67 martyrs arrived at hospitals as a result of the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation in the city of Rafah, and the process of retrieving the victims is still continuing.”

This comes as the Israeli war on Gaza has entered its fifth month, and most of its victims are children and women, according to the Palestinian authorities. It has also caused “massive destruction and an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe,” according to the United Nations.

Rafah witnessed, at dawn on Monday, a bloody night in which dozens were killed and wounded as a result of violent Israeli raids and clashes between Palestinian resistance fighters and the Israeli army northwest of the city, which was crowded with displaced people, in clear Israeli disregard for international warnings.
