After using a special liquid to prevent frost on windows, containing surfactants, fragrances and dyes, it is necessary to ventilate the car interior. Fumes can enter through the ventilation system and cause a severe allergic reaction.

“If vapors get into the car, people with bronchial asthma, atopic dermatitis and young children who have had allergic reactions in the past may be at risk of a new allergic reaction,” explained the deputy chief physician of the Medsi clinic in Krasnogorsk. Valentina Pigareva.

The specialist noted that the first symptom of an allergic reaction to this liquid is bronchospasm, manifested by shortness of breath, coughing and wheezing. Children may experience laryngospasm, during which they turn pale and sweat profusely.

Another manifestation of an allergy may be Quincke’s edema, accompanied by swelling of the soft tissues and mucous membranes of the face, neck and mouth. All these conditions are quite dangerous.

If such symptoms occur, it is recommended to immediately remove the victim to fresh air and free the neck and chest. After this, you should call an ambulance, the doctor warned.
