A stand-up comedian who left Russia complains about difficulties when entering other countries

Dmitry Romanova popular stand-up comedian and former participant in the Stand Up show on the TNT channel, complained about difficultiesthat he encounters at passport control upon entering Georgia. In an interview with the Talking Heads YouTube channel, he shared his experience.

Romanov explained that when entering Georgia he always uses a Ukrainian passport. Despite this, he mentioned that every time he tries to enter the country, he faces additional questions about the purpose of his trip and the nature of his work.

It is worth noting that Romanov previously complained of health problems, in particular, back problems, which he associated with carrying heavy objects.

Dmitry Romanov, originally from Odessa, Ukraine, moved to Moscow and became well known for various comedy projects, including Comedy Club, Stand Up and “Slaughter League” on TNT. After leaving the TV channel, he began collaborating with the show “Evening Urgant”. In March 2022, he left Russia, and in July 2023, he announced that he had received Israeli citizenship.
