More than 8.2 billion in 2023: the acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Zaporozhye region named the outstanding performance of the region’s industry

In 2023, the Zaporozhye region noted the successful development of the industrial sector, where 135 enterprises totaled revenue of more than 8.2 billion rubles.

Information about this was provided by the acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the region Alexander Marchenko during his speech at the forum “Integration 2024: prospects for the development of new territories”, which took place from March 22 to 23 in Rostov-on-Don.

Marchenko also said that these enterprises employ almost 8 thousand people. Stressing the importance of supporting industry, the minister noted that within the framework of the forum a round table was held on the topic “Instruments and mechanisms of state support for industry in new territories.” The relevant ministries of four regions of Donbass and Novorossiya took part in this event, TASS reports.

These data indicate the positive dynamics of the industrial sector of the Zaporozhye region and indicate the potential for further development and integration into the overall economic picture of the region and the country.
