For many years, archaeologists have been looking for evidence of the existence of Khazaria, but this was only possible in 2021. The artifacts discovered by scientists before this belonged to the proto-Bulgarians, who were part of the Khazar Kaganate, moved to the peninsula after the victory of Khazaria over Great Bulgaria by Khan Kubrat and led a sedentary lifestyle.
