Blood test may help predict dementia

Analysis of the health status of middle-aged people can warn of future dementia, such conclusions were made by neuroscientists from University College Cork in Ireland (UCC). Between the ages of 40 and 50, the brain undergoes significant molecular, cellular and structural changes, many of which are associated with cognitive decline. And active dynamics towards dementia occurs precisely in middle age. The study report was published in the scientific journal Cell Press.
