Former deputy head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received 5 years in prison for abuse of power

The Moscow City Court sentenced the former deputy head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Andrei Gurovich to five years in a general regime colony under the article of abuse of power resulting in grave consequences (Part 3 of Article 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) during the construction of a Covid hospital in the Murmansk region, which was closed after four months of work. This was reported by the press service of the Moscow courts of general jurisdiction.
