Hot “Yummy” with chicken fillet and potatoes: a simple and original idea for the holiday table

It is impossible to imagine the New Year’s table without hot. Let this time it be an appetizing and aromatic dish “Yummy” with potatoes and chicken fillet from the Zen channel “Alena Mitrofanova – Recipes”.

This dish looks fantastic but is easy to prepare. Moreover, thanks to the chicken fillet, this hot dish is quite light.

If there are more eaters at the holiday table, the amount of food will need to be doubled or tripled.


  • 2 chicken fillets;
  • 2 potatoes;
  • 100 g cheese (any, hard or processed);
  • 2 eggs;
  • 2 tbsp. l. sour cream;
  • 1 red onion;
  • salt, pepper, mustard;
  • 4-5 pickled cucumbers.


1. Boil potatoes in their skins until cooked (until soft). Peel the cooled potatoes and grate them on a coarse grater.

2. Also grate two hard-boiled eggs and add to the potatoes.

3. Also grate the cheese and add to the potatoes and eggs.

4. Cut the red onion into small cubes.

5. Also finely chop the pickled cucumbers. Add chopped cucumbers and onions to the grated potatoes.

6. Add 1-2 tablespoons of sour cream, salt and pepper, mix well.

7. Cut the chicken fillet lengthwise into wide slices and beat well. Salt and pepper on both sides.

8. Grease the bottom of the baking dish with butter. Place chicken breast slices on it and thinly brush it with mustard.

9. Place a generous layer of potato skin on each piece of chicken breast.

10. Place the breast with potatoes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

The finished hot dish comes immediately with a side dish. It looks very festive!
