The bodies of three babies were found in the basement of a residential building in the village of Czerniki, located in the Warmian-Masurian region of Poland, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“Today the police discovered the body of a third newborn in the basement of a house in Cherniki. Yesterday, the bodies of two newborns were found in the basement of the building,” the official statement reads.

It is noted that two people were detained in this case: a 54-year-old man, who is at least the father of one of the newborns, and the 20-year-old daughter of this man, who also turned out to be the mother of one of the dead babies.

According to media reports, police forensic experts are currently working in the house, and the woman has already been charged with murder.
