Wolves are approaching the villages of the Kyshtovsky district of the Novosibirsk region, causing alarm among local residents.

The problem is becoming increasingly pressing as wild animals, including roe deer, hares and foxes, have become common sights on village streets. This poses a threat not only to the safety of people, but also to livestock.

Resident of the village of Sausage Sergey Makarevich notes that wolves appeared in the vicinity of the village at the end of 2023 and have recently formed packs, showing particular courage, even approaching residential buildings, reports atas.info.

Locals turned to the authorities for help, which is why an inspector was sent to the scene. However, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the region Evgeny Shesternin stated in his official telegram channel that the inspector did not detect the presence of wolves near the village of Kolbasa. He stressed that the situation is under control, despite the previous unsuccessful experience of searching for bears.
