They asked why he was wearing what he was wearing. Regarding the question, he said that he put them on because there was no public event for which he would be wearing a suit. According to Navracsics, a politician should be careful about what he wears, because if he dresses very extravagantly, the voters will not take it well.

The politician always tries to dress in such a way that his constituents are proud of him and look confident.

When asked if he usually wears sneakers, he replied that he does wear sports shoes, but he doesn’t like limited trainers because they are very expensive.

However, the Minister of Foreign Affairs does not agree with this, as Szijjártó visited the Balazs Kicks store in September, where they sell trendy sports shoes and sneakers.
Péter Szijjártó said in the conversation that he learned that there was such a thing as “Jordan shoes” because of his children. He has a 12-year-old and a 9-year-old child, who told him to leave.

According to him, he is quite down to earth, for him sneakers are still shoes. Wherever you go with your children, the first thing they do is find a good sneaker shop. By the way, he doesn’t think of his shoes as a collection, because he wears them.

At the end of the video, Szijjártó bought another pair of shoes for HUF 75,000, and when asked if he wanted to pay by card or cash, he answered:

Cash, always.
