Pakhmutova’s husband, poet Nikolai Dobronravov, has died

The composer’s husband died Alexandra Pakhmutova – songwriter Nikolay Dobronravov.

Famous author Many of his favorite songs until recently he struggled with a serious illness, media reports.

The USSR State Prize laureate passed away at the age of 95 “after a serious and long illness,” the press writes.

Nikolai Nikolaevich Dobronravov was a legendary Soviet and Russian songwriter. Together with his wife, composer Pakhmutova, in 2006 they celebrated the half-century anniversary of their marriage.
