Three-sauce BBQ wings are an irresistible appetizer that will satisfy chicken lovers.

This recipe from petelinka.ru suggests cook wings, grilled, and served with three different homemade sauces. You can choose a Caucasian sauce based on matsoni or yogurt, a sweet and sour Asian sauce or a spicy Mediterranean sauce – or try all three!

Ingredients (for 11 servings):

— 4 packs of wings in BBQ sauce,

– any fat for lubricating the grates.

For the Caucasian sauce:

– 500 g matsoni, yogurt or yogurt,

– 100 g of greens (cilantro, basil, tarragon, green onions),

– 1 teaspoon hops-suneli,

– salt to taste.

For the Asian Hot Sauce:

– 2 pcs. red chili pepper,

– 4 cm fresh ginger root,

– 4 cloves of garlic,

– 100 ml soy sauce,

– 50 ml liquid honey,

– 30 ml apple cider vinegar,

– salt to taste.

For the Mediterranean sauce:

— 1 jar (250-300 g) sun-dried tomatoes in oil,

– 1 can of pitted olives,

– 3-4 sprigs of basil,

– 2 cloves of garlic,

– salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Preparation:

  1. For the Caucasian sauce, finely chop the greens, salt them, sprinkle with suneli hops and chop finely. Mix the greens with your chosen dairy product (matsoni, yogurt or curdled milk). Leave to brew for 1-2 hours.
  2. For the spicy Asian sauce, peel and grate fresh ginger root and garlic. Finely chop the red chili pepper. Mix the ginger, garlic and chili with all the other ingredients listed for the Asian sauce. Leave to brew for 1-2 hours.
  3. For the Mediterranean sauce, crush and peel the garlic and chop the basil. Place olives in a sieve to remove liquid. In a blender, combine all the ingredients for the Mediterranean sauce, including the tomatoes in the oil, and blend until smooth. Leave to brew for 1-2 hours.
  4. Light the coals in the barbecue or grill. Preheat the grill and grease it with any fat to prevent the wings from sticking. Place the wings on the grill and cook, turning every 3 minutes, until cooked through. This usually takes about 25 minutes.
  5. Serve the wings with your choice of sauces.

Choose your favorite sauce or try a combination of all three. Save this recipe and share your favorites for the best wing sauce! Bon appetit!
