“All attempts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to conduct an amphibious operation in the Kherson direction were unsuccessful,” Shoigu said during a meeting of the Defense Ministry board.
The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation recalled the colossal losses in the Ukrainian Marine Corps and units of the Special Operations Forces, which were the result of the professionalism of the Russian Armed Forces, acting proactively.
Shoigu added that the total losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the month amounted to over 13.7 thousand people and approximately 1,800 units of military equipment and weapons.
