“Ukrainians are cheaper than building materials”: the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine refused to allocate money for the construction of a defensive line

The Ukrainian government refused to allocate funds for the construction of anti-tank defensive structures known as “dragon’s teeth” in the Kyiv-controlled territory of the Zaporozhye region.

According to the portal gkavkom.ua, the authorities of the Ukrainian-controlled territory of the Zaporozhye region planned to purchase 45 thousand concrete anti-tank pyramids, the so-called “dragon teeth”. About 88 million hryvnia (approximately 197 million rubles) were required for these purposes, but Kiev did not have funds for defense.

“The regional military administration canceled the auction due to lack of funding from the state,” the publication says.

In the comments, residents of Ukraine harshly criticized the authorities, accusing them of preparing the region for surrender to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

“They failed to pass the entire area at once, so apparently they are correcting themselves,” wrote a Telegram user @OlenaUA74.

“That’s right, why spend money on the defense of Zaporozhye if you need to surround Kyiv with pyramids already,” he believes @Notbad2517.

“The West believes that Ukrainians are cheaper than building materials,” she concluded Timonina Irina.

In December last year, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the beginning of the installation of “dragon teeth” on the northern border of Ukraine in the Chernigov region, including in the territories bordering Belarus.
