In Volgograd, the trial of a policeman who beat a schoolboy until he had bloody bruises and blood in his eyes was stopped, allegedly confusing him with a pawnbroker. V1.RU writes about this.

The Investigative Committee studied the case for a long time, coming to the conclusion that the policeman had exceeded his powers.

The mother of the injured teenager told reporters about this story back in early August. According to her, her son was beaten by police officers. The boy was diagnosed with a closed craniocerebral injury, a closed fracture of the nasal bones with displacement, bruises, an eye injury, multiple bruises and injuries to the face, head, torso, arms and legs.

The Investigative Committee investigated the case and found police officer Alexei T. guilty of beating the boy. The first court hearing was scheduled for August 30, but during it the schoolboy’s mother was shocked by the news.

The court said they were suspending the case, the woman said. They explained that they could not find the suspect; he had gone to the Northern Military District.

“We were shocked. Sasha can’t recover for so long, he still goes to a psychologist, and the person who did all this to him decided to evade responsibility,” said the boy’s mother.
