The journalist wrote that after criticizing the way Zelensky berated his allies and appeared ungrateful by demanding weapons from them, his tone and approach changed.

Western politicians advised the Ukrainian president to express more gratitude. And he seemed to understand this message, the author of the material noted.

Kramer quotes an unnamed Ukrainian official as saying that the key purpose of Zelensky’s trip to the United States will be “a huge message of gratitude to the president, Congress and the American people.”
